|
|
Whilst I am very happy with my MN5, the colouring of the maps is not is not my ideal.
I appreciate that there are a few '3rd party' skins available from this and other sites (including Navigon themselves now!) however none of these is exactly what I would like.
During my search for alternative skins I came across a couple of programs that seem suitable for editing these yourself, namely Mini4Inis and MapModder. However these seem to be of German origin and all the posts and instructions are only available in German, which I can't understand at that level.
Has anybody had any experience of these programs and/or do you know of any English instructions? Or failing that does anybody know of another way to modify the MN5 skins?
Thanks! _________________ Steve.

You can of course wade through all the INI files and modify them manually. But the structure is very complex, and you can break things pretty easily. Go ahead, learn German... _________________ Lutz

Ah, but if I did that I might then defect to the German Forum, which has a lot more Navigon posts on it.....!!
I will bribe a German friend with a bottle of wine (French!!) and see how I get on. :D
