|

Can any one help or advise please; I am running GPSASSIST on my DELL pocket pc with TOMTOM NAVIGATOR 3.
I have downloaded the speed camera database which works fine.
All types of cameras are displayed, but only some beep!!
I have used alternativebmp files which are in pocketgps_uk_sc2;
these files are by Colville and Khan.
I have used Khan files which show the cameras and their speed, but only some cameras BEEP!!
Any reasons or suggestions would be very much appreciated. |

I don't think GpsAssist does give individual warnings. _________________ Richard

Thanks for your reply Richard.
It used to work before I downloaded the latest versions of speed cameras, and used alternative file.bmp, since then only some cameras bleep others don't. |

GPSAssist will give up to 3 warnings for each POI catagory installed.
eg. for the speed related POI's 30 mph gatso you can have.
1st warning at 400 yards "Approaching a Gatso Camera"
2nd warning at 200 yards "Speed limit is 30 mph"
3rd Speed alert 30 mph _________________ Graham.

You need to setup a wav file for each POI category you are using, 1 for the first warning, another for the 2nd and enable the speed alert for that POI. _________________ Graham.

Thanks, I didn't pick that up from the write-up that I read. _________________ Richard
