|
|
I am using the 2D view. The map movement seems jerky especially as it zooms in and out when you are at a junction. I have tried it on a non-vga pocket PC (HP 4150) and it's very smooth.
Interestingly, at the end of the install, I did get a message saying the program was not intended for my version and it may not operate correctly.
Anyone else notice this? |

It is a 'dodgy' copy. I have ordered my upgrade but like most people could not wait to get my hands on it.
The way the maps scrolls smoothly as you drive is superb and a nice bonus (not one I was expected). It's always the little things eh? |

It's pretty clear from the poster's own comments that it is a pirate copy :x
For that reason I have removed the link. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Not a problem, I wasn't commenting on your post, more the less altruistic intentions of the poster on that forum _________________ Darren Griffin |

Little things indeed. I'm most looking forward to orienting the screen sideways, just so I can take my PocketPC out of it's cradle without punching the windscreen every time :P |

The landscape ability is a real benefit. It seems very natural to use it this way. |

There will be a raft of topics on this issues when we all receive TTN5 I suspect. Just seen TTN5 in action on a friends PDA, and he had the same issue when he installed. Apparently it asks you to choose which GPS you are using, what Com port, and what baud rate.
For the less informed of us out there, this will be an issue unless they know the exact info. I for one have had my set up for 2 years plus, and could guess at the Com port (one in my case) but do not have a clue at the baud rate.
I can see many posts in the furure on this subject. _________________ Mio P550 Mio 3 TTN 6 2GB SD Card, Ipaq 5450: Integral 1Gb SD card, TTN 6, POICapture, PPC 2003 |

well i know my leadtek 9537 is incoming on com 8 and outgoing on com 6. ive tried that and 38400 baud and still nothing, ive paired manually, connected manually, tried connecting in tt5 and nothing.
now it could be the fact its cracked, but unlikely.
my upgrade will be worthless if its not gonna work. |

I'm using my old TomTom bluetooth and it just worked first time. I did not have to do any configuring at all. |
