Faulty SOC GPS CFplus

Looking for some help or info. My SOC GPS CF+ has just stopped working with my IPAQ 3970. The red 'pilot' light stills comes on when placed in the CF jacket but no signal is being received by any program on the IPAQ. I have inserted a CF storage card and the IPAQ is able to read it.

Has anyone any experience or ideas on what could have happened or how to resolve. Any utilities available to check on the signal. I have contacted the manufacturer but am getting no reply or assistance. Thanks

I had exactly the same issue light on but getting no signal. Had to return unit turned out to be faulty. Globalpositioningsystems were great I had lost the original receipt, but they had my details and gave me an RMA number.

My sysonchip gps unit has become faulty recently and I was wondering what the warranty is on the card.

I bought it about a year ago and concerned whether I can get it replaced/fixed.
