Hi,
I've read through the forum and installed Checkpoint as required, onto main memory. I've put the ov2 overlays in the map folder and all the speed camera bitmap icons on the my documents\Checkpoint files folder.
Although it works and I get warned of impending doom, sorry cameras, it doesn't show the icons on the map.
I've selected the UKGPS World speed db POIs within tomtom3.07 and petrol stations, whilst the petrol station icons show, the speed cameras don't.
Also, when selecting properties within checkpoint overlays it states 'no image'

Hi Toffee,
to the forum.
When you installed the .OV2 files, did you also install the identically named .BMP files as well? If you have then shutdown TT Navigator and then do a soft reset.
You should see the icons in the properties screen.

Thanks Privateer, and tahverymuch for the welcom too.
I've been a lurker rounds these 'ere parts for a long time, lots of great advise and on a positive note. I am of the opinion that everything works really well for what it is (iPaq 2210, TT3.07, Haicom H303S) no other probs so far (touches head!).
You've fixed my problem too, kind of, I think. It was the soft reset that did it, plus I placed the bitmaps in the same folder as the ov2 files as well. Although the images still don't show in the Checkpoint overlay properties screen ,they do now display within tomtom, and that's all I really care about actually, so THANKS VERY MUCH :O)
