|
|
Yesterday evening I tried playing mp3 songs in Windows Media Player while I was running SmartST with voice guidance. The problem I encountered was that the navigation voice was much louder than the music. What I therefore would like to do is to change these volumes separately. Is there a way to do this?
Cheers,

I haven't tried it myself but does the Volume slider bar under Setup > Sound have any effect on the Voice Guidance volume level? _________________ Tim |

The volume slider bar under settings changes the volume of all system sounds, including the navigation sound. The same goes for the volume slider bar in SmartST. My first assumption was that the volume setting in SmartST only changed the navigation sound but left the system sounds unchanged. Maybe this feature is hard to implement, but without it I can't use the media player while voice navigation is enabled...

What I would like is a volume setting in SmartST that was relative to the system sound level. The ideal thing would of course be if the system sounds were muted when a voice command came from SmartST, but this is probably even trickier to implement...

You'd better add it to the V4 wishlist then, if you haven't already. _________________ Tim |
