Hello,
Anyone knows of third party hacks, software thta allow a double bluetooth connection? ie: tomtom AND bluetooth headset AT THE SAME TIME? - to receive audio alerts while navigating for instance? i have an ipaq 4700 but hp says: 1 blue connection at a time |

This is possible with the hp 6315. So essentially it's a question of the completeness of the BT stack. You can certainly try to craft the Broadcom stack version 1.5 onto your 4700, but that's not something you do in five minutes...and it is definitely unsupported.
Have a look on the web, there are some BT "unlock" tools available that may or may not help. _________________ Lutz

I think you need at least 3100. _________________ Lutz

Today my bluetooth supported GPS and Phone, So I guess you could add audio as it is in a different "class" of bluetooth. I have a hx4700 as well. _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |

My XDAII supports this natively and my 2210 can happily maintain a BT connection to a GPS and Mobile phone at the same time. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have the 4700 with a BT headset and tom Tom connected and working at the same time.
It has tempted me to keep this option as I can stick the PDA in one pocket, the GPS in another and just walk about with voice instuctions in my ear :D
Added the headset under the BT Manager and it worked fine straight of the bat... |
