Have downloaded the latest Speed Camera Database to my pc , but on unzipping, there are no files marked as 'ov2' or 'bmp' .
There are four sets of 'pocketgps uk' files each having a : Bitmap image, POI Binairy (sic), XLS File and a CSV File.
Should I transfer just the Bitmap and the POI (is this the ov2?) files to the TTG ?
Can anyone enlighten me, please? |

You have WindowsXP which by default hides file extensions. You are quite correct though, the files you need are the Bitmap (.bmp) and POI Binary (.ov2) files, there will be one of each for every POI Type (Gatso, Mobile etc). _________________ Darren Griffin |

Further to Darren's remarks about XP's defaults.
I went to : Tools - Folder Options - View and then unchecked the box 'Hide extensions for known file types' and hey presto ov2 and bmp files now appear !
Hope this helps anyone else with a similar problem. |
