I read an article that the "GO" supports waypoints? Is this correct? If so can the waypoints be used to force "GO" take a partcular route? (ie by passing through say 8 waypoints)
Thanks in advance |

Not in it's present format.
You can however use 'Via' but as I understand it - only 1. I've not used it myself.

Similar problem, so didn't start a new thread.....
My wife will soon be travelling from Essex to Telford and wants to avoid the M6. Each time I tell TTG to avoid the M6, it only avoids a section of it, then goes back onto the M6 again.
How can I send her up the M40, or perhaps the A5 from M1-J18?
(Perhaps avoiding/using certain roads by NAME should be the next new feature.)
Also
The International Centre Telford
St Quentin Gate
Telford
Shropshire
TF3 4JH
does not appear to be in the TTG database.
The ROAD is in there but I would have thought TIC would have been too. www.ticuk.com |

The only way that I can see, is to Browse Map/ select the M40 at Banbury(make sure you chose the right carriageway)/choose to Navigate there. Not knowing exactly where you are coming from, you might have to go further North on the M40, (not too far though).
Press done to return to main screen. Now you need to plan a rouite to your real destination! Navigate to .../ either address as before, or If you have Post Codes file - choose Points of Interest, input TF3 4JH. The Post Code location is more accurate in this case.
Let TTG plan route and when finished choose Find Alternative / Travel Via / Recent Destination/ and select the M40.
This will route you all the way to the M40/M42 junction. When told to bear right onto the M42, and ultimately the M6, ignore it and bear left to go West. The TTG will then re-route up the M5 to destination
I hope this is clear and helps. _________________ Richard

I didn't make that bit very clear!
At the M40/M42 junction - you carry straight on to go Westward and bear left to travel back to the M42/M6.''
It sounds complicated - but it's not. I hope. _________________ Richard

get on the bottom of the m40 upo the m42 just keep going select avoid road M1 and it should keep going the honest going up the mk1 to the m6 is quicker and shorter birmingham isnt that bad now the m6 toll is open _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone.
