I would recommend a far more cautious approach than this. I suggest listing phones that people have tested (ideally with the phone ROM and TomTom Mobile version listed explicitly), phones that are likely to work (as they're so similar to tested phones), phones that do not work (with reasons, if known - such as "phone uses UIQ, not Nokia Series 60"), and phones that haven't yet been tested.
The two phones TDK mentioned are, I believe, the same hardware and therefore very similar software, but there may be just enough difference between the SP3 and C500 ROMs for one to work with TomTom Mobile and the other not to work.

Right then just to let you no that today I got my TomTom Mobile and its a big YES YES YES it does work with my Nokia 6260, i copied all the original card contents to my new 512 RS/MMC and also added the Speed Camera POI and hey presto works gr8, in fact better than i had imagined and as for those speed cam warnings all i can say is WOW and thankyou to whoever puts them together, so if you have a 6260 go for it works wonderfully |

I have it on good account that tomtom mobile does not work with the N-Gages...
However I will test myself soon and confirm ASAP.
Otherwise, its route66 for me...will I get speed cameras on that?
What will I lose apart from this? |

Hey,
According to a thread on AllAboutSymbian.com :-
http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30941
TomTom does indeed work very well on the 6630, so much smoother with the faster processor over the 6600.
Obviously people are using the 128mb DV RS MMC, which just about manages to hold all the information for the navigation.
I'm personally waiting till larger DV cards come out to make it more worthwhile.

I don't understand why TomTom supportes only one Nokia phone. Maybe there is going to be some change when Naviucore comes to Europe.
Just want to tell, that Navicore GPS software works with ALL Nokia s60 phones and also with s80 phones. The UK and Germany version will be released very soon. And the maps are also from TeleAtlas.
Finland and Scandinavia has been on the market since last year.
TomTom will have a good competitor. |

A forum-member of TomTom Forum Norway tells that TomTom have said to a Norwegian newspaper (Dagbladet) that Nokia 6630 will be compatible sonn.
They are also waiting for the bigger memorycard. _________________ Gunnar Nystul, Forum Admin, TomTom Forum Norway and Nystul Navigasjon |

I see references to TomTom working on the Sony Ericsson P910i. I would like to do this so does anyone know what is involved. Clearly I will need to use the Memory stick rather than MMC.

And by "support" I mean will not work - it's a different OS and UI to that which TomTom do have a working solution. |

Hey,
I'm sure TomTom on the P910 UIQ platform will come at some stage.
I'm sat here trying to remember if I've seen it mentioned before or not.
Basically the P910 still use's Symbian as it's operating system, just the UIQ version.
Route66 is available for P910.
