Sorry to be a pain, but there seems to be quite a lot of non TTG chat on this TTG FORUM and it has started to confuse the sh*te out of me !! Have not the other TT products got their own forums ? I realise that some of the topics are common but should not posters of non TTG kit be redirected to the correct page??
On a separate matter, why is PocketGPSWorld web site so slow tonight (as well as last night) I'm on BBand (1Meg) and it's positively pedestrian ( all other sites OK). _________________ cc |

I've found the site to be very slow lately too. |

You should see the Expansys TT Go forum. Looks like a "Kindergarten" forum. At least something IS done about it here.
As for the TT Go, is it better to keep it fully charged, or let it run down now and again? _________________ Using an A to Z

Perhaps it's such a good site, everybody wants a slice of the action. _________________ Richard

agree about Expanys site, it has more than its fair share of puerile pondlife
The MyTomTomGo site seems to be well organised AND it is purely for TTGs :D

Blimey, you really like to look down on people dont you cc130, "purile pondlife"!! You don't have a PhD in Pedantics by chance?
Yes, the MyTomTomGo site is very good, should be busy soon. I like both the Expansys and Pocket GPS forums, really helped me make up my mind when buying. But a bit of banter is good fun, why be really anal about what can and cannot be said? Its nice that people can get to know eachother on a forum, for me it adds a real sense of community. |

I was "just getting to know" a couple of posters there but it appears that I upset someone, as all my posts in one thread were deleted and I can't log on any more. Emails to moderator@ get bounced, too. And Expansys forum users say this one is strict! |

Although there were only 30-40 active in the forums you will find that there are 10 times that number in the other areas of our site. We are also sharing the server with other websites, and can at times be affected by a heavy load on one of thier sites.
There are a multitude of other reasons why the site can slow down, but those are the most common. We are currently talking to our hosting company to see what can be done about it, short of another server upgrade. _________________ Mike Barrett |

there seems to be a few strange ones on the old expansys forum, especially that bigfatjoe who’s called himself a monkey!
DavesCavCDX, you'd better save a banana for bigfatjoe.
Have a look here to see what I mean:
