Creating a new set of POIs - Don't make the same mistake!

I've just created a set of POIs to mark where the company I work for has customers. This is the second set of POIs I've created from scratch and the second time I made the same mistake!!!

If you create a 22x22 pixel bitmap, but make it with a colour depth of 16 bit instead of 8, TTN3.07 fails to load and hangs the PDA (requiring a soft reset to do anything)

At least it did on my Mio 168.

It took me ages to work out what had happened the first time this happened to me. Bassically because everything was working and then I did a complete re-install and TomTom stopped working. In between times some new POI files had crept into my save area, but not on to the PDA I actually didnt realise that there had been a change in the data on the system.

Good fun isnt it?
