Stupid question but here goes.
I have Checkpoint installed with TomTom 2 and it shows up as a POI in TomTom but without an icon (it has a tickbox though)
should it be ticked? and should it have an icon??

When you install CheckPOInt it puts an empty CheckPOInt.ov2 file in your map directory on the storage card. This shows up in TomTom without an Icon because it doesnt have a .BMP file associated with it. This .ov2 file is used by CheckPOInt to record POI's from the Rcord POI's option in CheckPOInt. No need to tick it. _________________ Graham.

If this remains unticked and is the ov2 file used to store new captured cameras, is this why icons for my new captures are not displayed on my map?
(I have taken a speedcam icon and renamed it CheckPOInt.bmp so it has a graphic associated with it.) |

From memory, new cameras do not show until you exit TomTom Navigator and start it afresh.
