But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
Hope there is someone out there to sort this "Thicko" (Me) out !
Ive tried to download the D3 to my acer n30. This i could do, but on the sowtware list it gives UK_Ireland @ about 149 meg ish. If i cut each segment i get up towards the 200 meg mark. This gives me more indepth maps but i have to keep changing them if i want to go to another area. Now on my card i have E1, E2, etc. The question is can i bundle them all together or do i have to put up with swapping maps if i want more defenition

No change of detail on cut maps, just loads a subset of the whole thing so I'd load all of UK as you have the space, this also won't give any over the border nav issues, the only need for cutting is to fit more bits on memory card, I have UK, France, Iberia but couldn't get all of benelux so cut belgium and Lux, all fit on a 512Mb.
You can delete from console and then add again.
TIP if you have a meory card reader on PC, put your card from PPC into that and then load the maps its much faster than via Active Sync, there is an option on the Dest Console.
When you reinsert card to PPC make sure D3 is not loaded otherwsie it may not fuind teh maps, if in doubt softreset, then all the maps will appear on switch map screen
