Newbie Help & How to's

Dear all - I think this is the best site around, when I wanted to buy I used your reviews, when I am stuck I check out the Forums, if I need help there is always something here - but, (and it is only a small but) is it not possible to have a section (perhaps in the FAQ) where newbies and others could go to get advice and step by step instructions (taken from the forums) in order to help with the more the usual questions that you guys must get asked everyday of every week like 'How do I install TT3', 'Can you help me sort out GPRS' and varoius other issues that we have all had to encounter on our way through instalation and use?

Keep up the good work for all the numpty's like me who need the type of guidance that GPS cannot give!

FAQs have the tendency not to get read, and many users instead are happy to ask the question again - so it's a bit of a double edged sword. But we're trying to find the optimal balance between personal advice and items of common interest. Right now we're editing a FAQ style guide to make TomTom coexist with other programs. If I read the crystal ball right we will also have some more FAQs - oops, guides - for POI maintenance soon. So stay tuned...

Our equivalent to that topic is "What is the best PDA?" or "What is the best navigation program?" Works every time...
