Does anyone know what the sound quality/volume is like using TomTom Nav. 3 on an Ipaq h5550, beacause the volume on the Ipaq h5550 is not that loud even turned right up (the sound is fantastic when you use headphones)
I'm just a bit concerned that I won't be able to hear the voice prompts when in a noisy car
regards

I had a problem hearing my 2210 in our motorhome, even though it was fine in our Camry. Solved that easily with a small speaker from Radio Shack (radioshack.com, Catalog #: 40-1434, $10US). Plugs in directly, sounds very good and much louder! |

Bought a Sony single speaker from Dixons, cut a hole in the side of the mount unit and placed it inside... Trouble was it is too loud... _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |

I use TTN3 on an H5550 in a Citroen C5. I have no problem hearing the voice prompts if the radio/CD is not on. With radio CD at a 'normal' sort of level I can just about adequately make out the voice prompt, but it can start to disappear in the noise. However, if navigating Nora starts to fight with information from the TrafficMaster system built into the car then TM wins. But at least with Nora I can always glance down at her map if I missed the voice prompt!
