Hi guys I bought these this week and think that I have set them up correctly, I have both lights on the GPS but don't seem to be able to get anything out of the PDA to give me any info on location, can anyone please give me any pointers,I have read through most of the posts and don't seem to be able to solve the problem.
I am running Tom tom 3.
RZ3715
Fortuna bluetooth GPS,
What settings should I have on my IPAQ and how should I be able to get a fix on a satellite
any assistance would be greatly appreciated as it is very frustrating |

Hi,
You say 2 (Two) lights on the GPS
On the Fortuna there are 3 (Three).
(1) Blue - flashing means Bluetooth connection from the PDA
(2) Green - A fixed link to satelites
(3) Green - Your Fortuna is powered up Ok
Have you a bluetooth connection ? _________________ Tom Tom Go 300

I do get the power light on green all the time.
But still no joy connecting |

If your getting Bluetooth connection i.e. Blue LED flashing constant, and both Green LED's are on permanently, then it has to be your setting in TTN via GPS Status.
Have you downloaded ttnupd307 ? and installed it on your PDA ?
I got the same problem until I had installed ttnupd307. Then I found Bluetooth Serial Port COM8 which cured it.
My settings are NMEA 0183v2 38400 with Bluetooth Serial Port COM8.
Hope this helps _________________ Tom Tom Go 300

thebatterystall's answer is correct - you need GPS 3.07 for the latest iPAQs. You should really install TomTom Navigator 3.07 on a WM2003SE machine, too - both are available from the downloads section of support.tomtom.com

thanks for the help guys, I updated with 3.07 and it came up with comport 6 and in came the satellite no problem, the reason why I lost it was I had to do a hard reset and forgot that I had updated TomTom.
