I have a Navigon Blue Media in for review at present. It cannot use TMC, the external antenna socket is for an external GPS antenna only and cannot connect to a TMC/GPS external receiver.
Even where it able to, the version of software loaded is not TMC aware. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I've been tinkering with the Navigon BlueMedia and the same method that unlocks WinCE on the Medion PNA150 works with this unit.
Interestingly the Navigon unit has the same MP3 Player installed as well as a nice GPS Info applet that provides GPS Diagnostics. I've now got it booting to the CE Desktop, Explorer, MP3 Player, Calendar and Contacts.
No sign of a GX.dll though. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I'm sure the review will cover my question but I'm hugely impatient (I like to think this is a strength ), so does the Navigon Bluemedia PNA cope with the speed camera POI database at all ? It looks like it could be a good unit if it does - Navteq maps (so Ireland is well covered), street level maps of europe included (not an added cost option), if its routing is mostly good as well (shortest really being shortest etc) then I'm tempted .... |

I understand that POI-Warner are looking at providing support for this model. Out of the box it does not support custom POIs. _________________ Darren Griffin |
