I order the new V3 software from Navman online store a couple of days ago. I received confirmation of the transaction from worldpay after hitting the submit order button.
I have heard nothing from Navman about my order. No email to confirm receipt of order never mind dispatch. I paid the extra premium for a higher grade delivery- what’s the point when Navman don’t seem to hurry in dispatching the goods in the first place.
I emailed navman online - still awaiting a reply.

The website's homepage has changed today, but over the Christmas/New Year period it stated in big bold red letters that any orders placed during that period would start shipping on Jan 6th, and that orders would be dispatched on a first in-first out basis. I expect that you are in the queue, as is your email. _________________ Tim |

Anglefire did you recive you V3 today( jan 7th)
I did read Tims comments. There was no messages or notices saying that there were any issues with the product release or delivery at stage of the ordering process. They also offer for a extra premium quicker delivery which i opted for. Theres no point in opting for this if teh product going to take days or weeks to be dispatched.
I still believe that a confirmation email should be dispatched from Navman thanking me the customer for the order and at the very least confirm receipt of the odrer will an expected delivery time, or status report.

Which is pretty much what you expect?
But yes, you are right, they should give some idea that they are shut on the store page too if applicable. _________________ Mark

If they do have an answer there keeping close to thier chest.
When we buy over the net with our hard earned cash I dont think its unreasonable to expect an email confirmation when goods are ordered and paid for. I emailed Navman 3 times in 7 working days and have received no reply.
