|
|
I just purchased a iCN-510 , and received it tonight.
I am trying to figure out these maps, I have SmartST V3.
As I am following this procedure for "Install Basemap", the installer says "Not Available".
Is there a US basemap made?
Is it on one of these CDs, and I'm just being silly?
Please help? 8O |

Nevermind, That was a stupid question I asked.
It was on Disc1 of the maps. I assumed since it was not labelled on the disc (and I was using Disc2 - Minnesota), that I did not have it. <bang head> |

Thanks for your posting. I came to this forum with the same question.
I think many users will face the same problem when trying to install the USA Basemaps, since there no mention of their location on the PDF manual and they are not mentioned in the Software CDs either.

No, the European version comes with the EU basemap, the US version comes with the US basemap.
When you were shown as being in the sea, did you have a good fix, etc? _________________ Tim |

Having not used V3 in Spain, I'd rather not comment. I did use V2 in Spain and Portugal and I found SmartST useful during that trip. _________________ Tim |
