Hi All

Just got a TT GO last week and have to say I'm pretty impressed so far. Used it up to Liverpool (from Oxford) and it worked very well. It even cottoned on pretty quick when we travelled via M6 Toll rather than M6.

While there, I tested it with the local knowledge of my fiancee's auntie (driving around Liverpool) including the auto re-routing - the TTG managed very well and recovered quickly after driving through one of the Mersey tunnels.

On the return journey, it seems to have "remembered" what we did before and routed us via the M6 Toll with no question. I guess the TTG somehow holds routes already travelled?

So far so good. I also find it easy to mount the SD card via USB on a Mac, to install POI's etc. I have also copied the entire SD card - thus making a backup. I think it doesn't present many problems for Mac users wishing to add POI's, backup, etc.

Anyway - that's about it. Just thought I'd report what I've found so far.

Regards,

Ashley

I'm using my TTG with a Mac. I downloaded TamTam software over the weekend to do any updates directly. Not sure if it works yet 'cos there aren't any to do.

I was just about to edit your post when I realised that TamTam wasn't a typo but a reference to Mac interface software Embarassed
