Have you converted the files to .asc with POI Edit?
What exactly have you done? What stage are you at?
If you give all the details then someone should be able to help.

Sorry, can't help as I don't use POI-Warner. For my set-up the free CheckPOInt and our database fulfills all my needs.
Have you tried POI-Warner for support or perhaps someone with more experience of that product will see this thread? _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have sorted it out and converted the OV2 (tomTom) file type to one that is compatable with Medion and it's all working.

From the CheckPOInt website FAQ:
"Does CheckPOInt work in combination with TomTom Go, Alturion, Engin and/or Navigon?
The answer to all these questions is: no.
CheckPOInt only works in combination with TomTom Navigator on the Microsoft Pocket PC or Windows Mobile operating system.! |

You need to use POI Warner not Checkpoint with Medion Navigator.
It's childs play to get it up and running once you've downloaded & registered a copy of POI Warner; just make sure you remember to download "POI Edit" too so you can convert the OV2 files to .ASC. |

I have recently purchased the latest Medion product with Medion Navigator 4.3 installed. I have also registered POI-Warner software and downloaded database POI's. However on starting Medion Navigator I get the error message " The given regisstry path to MobileNavigator or to the Engin-System is not valid! " Any help would be appreciated as I am now stuck! |

Hello Happypig
I would try re-installing the navigation software and POI-Warner, you should be able to remove them first via:
Start - Settings - System tab - Remove Programs
PLEASE do not blame me if it does not work, but I see no other way to get the navigation software to be correctly registered in the system when it shows that type of fault.
Regards,
PocketGps

Thanks for the advice......
It was my mistake .... I'd downloaded MobileNavigator|4 instead of Medion-Navigator 4 from POI-Warner.
Works OK now |
