I have a Opel Astra 2.0 Turbo Bertone Coupé (2002).
And I would like to know if there is anyone out there using a TomTom Go in a Opel Astra car.. |

My mother has a 2003 Vauxhall Astra 1.8 Elegance, and has no GPS reception problems at all.
I don't think any of the 'old' Astras use athermic windscreens - but I could be wrong if there's anything unusual about the Coupe.

I never had a problem when I had the W reg (2000) Astra Coupe Bertone. Vauxhalls very rarely have athermic windscreens, the only exception I believe is some Zafira's. The main issues are french made cars like Renault and Peugeot. |

Most Vauxhalls do not have athermic windscreens as standard, but it can be specified as an option on most of the cars in the current range (guess who has been reading all of the brochures recently?). Unlikely to have it, I would have thought. Why not email Vauxhall UK's support? I have done before and they usually respond quickly. |

Dunno bout the Vauxhall, but it works fine in my heated front screen Focus :D
It seems the TTG has a very sensitive Sat reception system, as it picks up from at least 5 Sats in my house with the curtains closed, and doors locked, when i`m hiding in the cellar
Can`t think why anyone would need the external Antennae |
