HELP, NO POI ICONS

Hi im new to this place and would like some help please, ive downloaded some POI such as Asda, mcdonalds etc, there on my pda ok and i can navigate to one but there isnt any icons with them, how can i get the icons.

Hi smithjoe,

In the 'Properties' menu, have you got these POI's ticked to appear on the map? There is a check box beside each one which should be ticked.

Yes they are ticked to appear, but we as all other poi in there have a little pic next to them my added poi have none.

Hi smithjoe,

Fully shut down TomTom Navigator (TTNav), using either of the following ways (depending on whether you’re in the Navigator Screen or the Map Screen:

Navigator Menu: More | More | Exit application
Map: File | Exit

Restart TTNav. If you still don’t see your POI icons then shut down TTNav again and do a soft reset of your PDA.

thanks for the help guys, i dont think reseting will work as i have a feeling the icons didnt download with the actual POI, got the POI of this site http://poiplace.oabsoftware.nl/index.php?MainURL=POIregister3.php but dont really understand it, as ihave downloaded the POI but it then says to sync it with checkpoint but cant get on the internet with my pda and checkpoint.

what i might do is delete them and start again using your POI SYNC on here, i have downloaded it, got to the list of different POI but im lost from here say i want Mcdonalds what do i do from the list onward to get the icon and the poi onto my pda.
