Yes you can, I got this one:
http://www.navigating.de/Medion4_en/POI/Index.htm
I used the speed camera o2v files from this site (converted to asc with POI edit) then just uploaded them to the PDA. Works great |

Hi JaceyBoy,
to the forum.

I don't have the software but try Jono's suggestion. I use WinOV2 to convert .OV2 files to .ASC format.

Hi, I'm new to this, too ; so to check, this is what I have to do:
*Buy/download the Warner POI sw and activate it
*download the Speed Camera data from this forum/site
*convert the file format of the latter data to .asc
*transfer this data to the PDA
*Bob's my uncle...
OK, where do I find the POI edit/WinOV2 Convert software?
In exactly which folder do I transfer the data to, on my PDA? |

1. http://www.navigating.de/Medion4_en/POI/Index.htm
Follow all the instructions to install and register the POI-Warner utility.
2. Yes - http://www.pocketgpspoi.com/downloads/pocketgps_uk_sc.zip
3. http://dnote.demon.nl/public/PoiEdit_v32.exe
4. Run the PoiEdit_v32.exe
5. Un-zip the pocketgps_uk_sc.zip to the the PoiEdit folder
6. Start PoiEdit, click on the Tools - Batch Convert, you should see the files you un-zipped from pocketgps_uk_sc.zip, just click Convert, within a second the files will be converted, then just close PoiEdit, browse to its folder and you will find the converted files with the .asc ending. Copy the files:
pocketgps_uk_gatso.asc
pocketgps_uk_mobile.asc
pocketgps_uk_redlight.asc
pocketgps_uk_specs.asc
6. Put your Pocket PC in its cradle and start ActiveSync, (if not already started), then browse to the folder
\Program Files\POIWarner MN4-Edition\pois
then Paste the files you copied above into this folder.
7. You will also need to copy the 4 image files from the PoiEdit folder:
pocketgps_uk_gatso.bmp
pocketgps_uk_mobile.bmp
pocketgps_uk_redlight.bmp
pocketgps_uk_specs.bmp
then Paste them to the same folder as above.
8. Then click Start on your Pocket PC - Programs - then start POI-Warner
and configer each of the tabs, this takes a bit of learning so is much to long to post here, but its not that hard.
Hope this helps.

Is there a free version available or is it the pay version mentioned earlier in this thread?
