Help........
I've just downloaded the POI sync software and got as far as selecting the POI's I wanted then clicking the PDA+ as instructed. Unfortunately when I do this I get the message:
"Remote API library not found make sure you have ActiveSync installed"
Can anyone what I need to to do ????
Many thanks

Okay, first of all you need to tell us exactly what you're trying to do and exactly what hardware you have. You haven't told us any of this yet, so to answer your question would be a little tricky without having this pertinent information available.
Do you have a Pocket PC ? Do you have a Palm ? Do you have a PND (Personal Navigation Device) like the TomTom GO or Navman iCN510 ? |

Dave
Thanks for the reply. I have a Tomtom Go and was trying to use the POI Edit sync software to allow me to autoupdate POI info each time I plug my TT Go into my PC. Suspect I may be being a bit thick here as I'm not sure I cn actually do what I'm proposing. I've now got activesync working on my PC.

I don't think ActiveSync works with Go. ActiveSync is for Windows CE powered devices - these days that means Pocket PCs and Smartphones. I'm pretty sure Go doesn't even use the Windows CE kernel to avoid paying licensing fees to Microsoft.
