Yes, it's a S10.
It's not going to be an issue now as the car I'm getting only has one USB port that connects to the head unit.
I want to use this port for a USB music stick so I'm giving Android Auto a miss as that needs the same USB port.

I've downloaded STA onto an old spare phone. It's stuck on Android 9 and for some reason it won't download the latest STA version.
It's stuck on 1.1.28 Full Version code 87
I'ts showing I'm a beta tester so that's not the restriction
No big deal as I only want it for 2 journeys in another car without BT so I don't have to change my main phone STA BT setup.

Versions 1.2.0x are for android 9 and higher.
Android 8 and older can install only 1.1.28 |

It's an ancient HTC One M7.
No problem though, only need it for 2 journeys.

I'm liking the new auto update facility.
I've got mine set to update on startup, as I don't use it every day, or every week for that matter. So when it starts up, after whatever period, it's up to date.

Hi, loving STA so far. Just enrolled for beta to try the new pgps update facility but I'm stumped.
I can get the input screen for entering user details but the box is too large for my screen (an android car head unit in landscape) and it doesn't scroll for me to input credentials. Works ok on my phone in portrait. I have a screenshot but can't upload.
Anyone help? |

Press 'back' button on your phone to hide the keyboard. Tap the box for entering credentials which will bring the keyboard up again and then type it 'blindly' - i.e. you can't see what's being typed. Think that's what I ended up having to do.

I've contacted developer through app store with info. It is a beta I suppose so issues are expected. |

I'm not surprised as it's designed for a portrait phone.
I've rejected quite a few apps on my landscape tablet because the app is useless sideways.

Landscape layout wasn't taken into account, this is the app bug.
Will be fixed in nearest updates.
