YES IT WORKED - All subkeys in the registry were originally set to disable. I followed the suggestions and the software ran fine. Thank you so much

I've learned something as well, whether I remember it is another thing. _________________ DashCam:

Hi Kremmen, thank you for your help to date. The updated programme now seems to run fine as before and processes all the cameras available and subsequently creates a .gpi file. The .gpi file however seems very small (998k) and this seems wrong. Im sure it was 6 or 7 times the size before. The old version was totally removed correctly before reinstallation
When I upload to my satnav there are no cameras available to be seen. I know the sequence and system well and am now using a new formatted stick with a fresh software download from the garmin site. I have rebooted the honda system, reset all the parameters within the honda/garmin software and all the other roadside items canbe seen. During downloading the software to the honda I can see the cameraxx.poi file being read but it will not show. . I cannot understand why the poi file is so small and wonder whether there is a later version of the Garmin POI loader the software should be running instead of an original it might have picked up.
I have reuploaded to my satnav a .gpi file of 10774kb I created in December with your old version software and all the speed cameras are being displayed fine on my satnav.
It seems the .gpi file is not being created correctly with my new istallation. I know the software well and am puzzled why the file size is now so small. |

Interesting re pMobiles. I just tried out Ash's Camera Manager software and a check shows that this category no longer seems to be generated as a standalone .gpx file either.
It could purely be coincidence but I wonder if PGPSW has changed some parameter somewhere regarding pMobiles. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

Make sure that POILoader is pointing to the same place as the Converter.
If you're not sure, download and run my diagnostic:
** CSV Converter / POILoader Diagnostic **
I've just performed the database install:
.GPI file on my Garmin DS61 is 8.23Mb so all AOK.
My .GPI will be slightly bigger because I have the verifiers cameras in a sub folder that are dragged in by POILoader. Just means that if I approach a site with an unverified submission I get a different warning. _________________ DashCam:

Kremmen I have downloaded the 4 Garmin CSV Installer files from the diagnostic software into a new directory. When I run setup.exe I get the following error message:
Error In Get Last Garmin Device Module Argument "Length" must be greater or equal to zero.5
PLEASE DISREGARD THIS POST |

After the above problem I've included some info regarding POILoader.
As well as displaying the CSV Converter 'Working Directory' it will also display where POIloader is currently pointing to and which Garmin device was last used via that location.
This what you will now see:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original V1:
**Download CSV Converter V1**
Latest V2:
**Download CSV Converter V2**

Nice one K, BUT it's not obvious enough for those who need thwir hands held throughout the process K.
What is needed is a big Info popup saying something like
WARNING
"Your PoiLoader is not pointing at the CSV to GPX converter working folder.
The cameras that you are currently working on here will not be correctly loaded to you satnav device with the current settings" |

I thought about that but there are those that maybe don't use the 2 in order so the pointer is wrong half the time.
If I get thousands of requests then ............... _________________ DashCam:

Hi Kremmen I have installed CSV to GPX converter Version 2 - 2021.02.04.5
Everything is working well and the poi file is generated correctly. HOWEVER the option WARNING TEXT CHANGE does not appear at all on the header with the other options which are all there. - A Mystery!

Correct
The V2 is a slimline version of the original.
If you want the warning text change feature then it's back to V1.
Sorry for any confusion. _________________ DashCam:
