Small utility addition.

Something that can be easily overlooked is the amount of space Garmin Map and Firmware downloads take up.

I nearly got caught out when I had a smaller 120Gb SSD.

Just click the new Menu item and it should display rounded sizes:

It may be worth listing all the downloaded map temporary files if that isn't already being done. That is what takes up the space after a map update. The other one is Basecamp temporary files which don't seem to be deleted.

Have you got the Basecamp location as I haven't got Basecamp ? All I've got in my Garmin location is Application and Temp that I haven't linked to and my temp is empty.

I've had other feedback so there will be an update later today.

Basecamp is

C:\Users\Fred\AppData\Local\Garmin\BaseCamp\TileCache

Mapsource is

C:\Users\Fred\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\MapSource\TileCache

*/Fred/* (or whatever) will be specific to the logged on username at time of download.

I'm sure I can trap the currently logged on user but that may not be where all those files are if the PC has more than on user.

Edit: Have you installed Basecamp for just you or all users ?

Not sure - if installing on a system with more than 1 user and doing it individually, then probably.

So Basecamp and Mapsource data could be in a multitude of places.

I've still got another change to make as the temp field isn't wide enough when the GarminExpress stuff is in there. I'm going to trim off the time from all fields as what's there already is a screenful so no room to expand. Won't be for a few days though.
