I wonder if that is the authors opinion (because he doesn't know how to do it) or fact. |

Well I have long been scouring all over to see if the PGPSW database with voice warnings can be installed on my Jag XF's satnav, without success.
That's why I still balance my trusty Garmin on top of my dashboard.

Hi,Thanks for coming back to me.Its strange you cannot have voice alerts with the speed camera download as there are voice alerts when using the route guidance.I will keep on trying, regards |

If the Jag system is based on Garmin then it 'could' just be a SOX issue if all that is missing is voice warnings.
Search SOX here for more info. _________________ DashCam:

The Jag system uses the gpx format the same as Garmin. I don't understand what you mean by a sox issue regards |

Garmins don't use GPX, POILoader uses GPX (or CSV) and converts them into a single GPI file.
During that conversion it uses a third party file called SOX.EXE to import the WAV files so you get a spoken warning.
If your Jag system uses pure GPX files then SOX won't apply. _________________ DashCam:
