Hi all
I am using memory map software and a Navman 4100 BT receiver.
Now how do you know if you are receiving a basic GPS signal or if it has been augemented using EGNOS ?
On my Garmin GPS76 map it told you on the sats display but as Memory map uses the NMEA data stream this does not carry the info.
Any ideas or suggestions please ?

quit memory map, fire up crux_view, and it will tell you the fix type. _________________ Lutz

Hi there
Thanks for the help,
So Crux view will tell me this info from the NMEA data that my Navman BT mouse sends to the Pc, so does this mean that the NMEA data carries this information ? If not then how does crux view know that it's getting WAAS or EGNOS assistance.
thanks Roy _________________ all the best
