Hi
I'm trying to download the speed camera POIs to my Jaguar XE
I followed the instructions given on the website for a Jaguar XF (same satnav as an XE), but they are not compatible to the menu
the instruction states “touch Nav. Menu button then touch More button” but there is no “More” button and no “My POI” button

Having done a search and a read through of loads of posts on your behalf, the best I can find without reading all the hits is HERE, from where I think the instructions came, but it doesn't look promising as you don't have the same menu options. The main problem here is that none of the 'experts' have your system, so they can only go on what owners actually come up with. What does the manual say about user POIs (if anything). |

Thanks M8TJT, but the manual says nothing about POIs and you are right - they have different menu options. My IT expert mate has an XE as well and he can't figure it out
Emailing Jaguar is no help either as they just say
"I would like to advise that we do not support or recommend any modification to our vehicles that would take them away from the original manufacturer’s specification. For this reason we would be unable to comment or provide further assistance." |

If third party or user POi's are not specifically mentioned in the manual then dealers will always run a mile.
Best place for info is a car specific forum.
If in doubt buy a PGPSW compatible PND, it's easier. _________________ DashCam:

I assume you have a system with a USB input?
Do you have incontrol or ICP?
I'm looking at doing something similar and avoiding nailing my TT to the dash if...like me..you want to have a clutter free dash, then why not install Cameralert? It works brilliantly. _________________ Jaguar XF R Sport AWD
