Our old 205W unit wont turn on these days it came with the Traffic lead/power lead car charger. If I get one of the newer 57LM sat navs as offered by Halfords these come with Uk lifetime maps but no traffic feature. Before I spend will the old traffic/power lead still function?

It will power the new unit OK but if I'm understanding the rest, you are asking whether the old 'traffic' cable will enabke traffic on the new unit?
That I doubt _________________ DashCam:

I'm not sure. The old style traffic cables can be switched between units as the subscription is linked to the cable, which also contains the receiver. It may indeed work but to be sure call Garmin and ask. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Or try it. Oops. That might be difficult. |

Thanks for all the replies, I'll let the forum know the outcome.
Update, After searching the web I found another lead and it worked just fine, there must have been a fault in the original traffic lead. Incidentally the new nuvi 57Lm display is a real improvement. |
