I'm also after one of these, can anyone recommend a good one?
Also how darker is the screen (day and night) when one is fitted and when one is fitted does it cheapen the look of a TT Go? |

I think prevention is better than cure here! The trick is not to put finger marks on the screen in the first place. Use a stylus instead.
I had a spare set of stylii for my XDA so at first I started to use one of those, keeping it in the car. Then I went mad and splashed out £12 for a 3-in-1 pen which has a soft stylus, plus a ball point plus a laser pointer for presentations. I leave this in the car and use it whenever I want to tap the screen. The extra length of the 3-in-1 pen over a stylus is a plus. I now have no problem finding a pen in the car whenever I need one!
If you don't want to splash out then any reasonably soft pointing object will do just as well. I even saw a suggestion for using a pencil eraser (the ones that fit on the end of standard pencils). If all else fails use your finger nail instead of your skin (easiest done by turning your finger over as you tap). However, a stylus is by far the best solution.
In 2 months I have not had to clean my screen once - and no unsightly fingerprints in sight.
Of course, no screen protector means no loss of screen brightness. |

PS I did try a screen protector from expansys.com, but hated the lack of clarity that it gave the screen. It hides what is one of TTG's strong points, IMHO |

Hi,
I bought some from pdamods.com , total cost £12.98 .
They fit perfectly and you can hardly tell that its on.
Slightdownside is that they make the reflection problem slightly worse, but afterall not much chance of any sunshine for a good few months yet unles your thinking of tomtom ing in the Bahamas.
Regards

i bought the "Writeshield" screen protector from Expansys.com 3 weeks ago and it's perfect in my opinion.
It just won't accept fingermarks and equally important - it does away with reflections.
As for the brightness - as long as you installed the 4v40 update you won't notice any difference because the 4v40 update includes increased screen brightness thereby compensating for the (very slight) loss of brightness when using a screen protector.
Highly recommended. |

Two tips I picked up.
Cotton bud for screen entry.
Cling film for protection.

I am using Brando Screen protector. They have 2 types - one considerably reduces screeen reflection, the other is ultra thin but does reduce the reflection. The first one I am using and very happy with it, almost no reflection. The price is 12$ (9$ for the protector and 3$ for shipment). By the way you can order as many, i.e. multiply by 9$ and you pay once the 3$ shipment. So if you have friends so you can order for all and spare the multiples of 3$ shipment.
