Yep you can. First download Garmin's Basecamp program. Once you've done that this is a useful guide, which although it applies to the Zumo range will also help with your nuvi

Come back for more help if needed
P.S. You haven't bought the wrong thing, your nuvi will do what you need but like any device you need to learn how to use it. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Thank you very much for the help & pointers
With my tom tom rider I used a programme called tyre, which is dead easy to use.
I wrongly thought it could be used the same way with Garmin.
I am downloading basecamp at the moment and have printed the instructions you pointed me at obviously with a 53 page doc it's a difficult process & will take me a while to get my head around.
A question if I may, where on the Garmin will I find the route itinery Please.
Thanks again, nigel |

Trip planner is under Apps on your Garmin.
I've not used tyre but thought it was compatible with Garmin as well as TomTom? _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Or, press the top left box to get the turn instructions in sequence, together with a map of the junction or a photo-real view if available.

Yes Thanks again brilliant, there is a scroll down on the apps menu I'd missed and the Tyre GPX route I first tried is there!
Much appreciated, this will save me messing with that basecamp thing I'm very happy I can now used all the Bike routes I have on Tyre for the tomtom rider in the car.
Cheers Thanks Again. |
