Basecamp on my PC a mess. I want to clear it then reinstall all way points from GPS again as I have cleared them all out. I also want to remove all the tangled routes. have looked on internet without luck...any ideas please

Just right click the folders/lists/data and select 'remove and delete ... ' _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

thanks removed all. but when I plugged in 2547 and asked it to sentd list of edited way points to PC. I still ended up with old list ful lof old stuff that I wanted to clear out...hows that please?  |

I'm a tad confused. Are you saying you deleted all data from Basecamp then copied data from your 2547 to BaseCamp? If so only the data you've copied should appear.

just plugged it in and pressed "receive from device". maybe i'm wrong but sure there are waypoints that I removed from garmin back on map
maybe not... its just that its not like on device where they fan out in order....sorry.
I still have a couple of routes on device that have gone over as well. how can I remove these from basecamp please  |

Again, just right click them and select as appropriate. You should get an option to delete or 'remove', deleting gets rid of them from wherever they exist in Basecamp, remove simply deletes the link to the route so it no longer appears where it was when you 'removed' it. It will still appear in other lists if you've placed it in any, otherwise you'll see it in the 'Unlisted data' folder. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |
