Afternoon all,
I have just bought a new computer and want to transfer my maps etc., from the old PC to the new one.
I have two Garmin devices, both with lifetime maps - one for my motorbike (Zumo 500) and one that is used by the family in the cars (Nuvi 1490).
Can anyone advise on how I do this please? |

Use GMTK, available here http://www.javawa.nl/gmtk_en.html
Install it on both PCs. Use backup to backup your maps onto a usb stick, then use 'restore' to restore the map files onto the new PC. |

Just log into MyGarmin, go to myMaps and download them again.
Alternatively, use Garmin MapInstall. You only need one map for Mapsource and Basecamp if thats what you want to use them for. |
