The only difference between the files for iPhone 3 or 4 was due to the retina screen resolution so the icons for the iPhone 4 are larger, everything else remains the same - Mike |

You still can't copy them into the main map folder like the original instructions. 1.14 allows you to create a POI folder and you put them all in there. _________________ Samsung S22 Android, Google Maps & Camera Alert |

Thanks for the info, but still unsure Where am I putting the ogg,ov2 and png files. I have put them in as files on their own and as a folder into the poi folder on my iPhone and it still not working for me. _________________ All the best

You no need create the poi folder. 1.14 already have the "poi" folder within the document folder.
You just put all the ogg, ov2 and png/bmp files there rather than in the map folder. You can use diskaid to copy the files over. |

On there own in the POI folder is where mine are.
OV2, PNG and OGG files
Works fine that way? _________________ Samsung S22 Android, Google Maps & Camera Alert |

Had a go - 3 times... The voice warning is working, I can see the cams coming towards me with their icon but I do not see at all the big icon alert in the top left of the screen.
Do I disable speed cams alerts in the tomtom settings or just leave it on?
Driving to Europe tomorrow, I downloaded the EUR database with voice alerts but I get no voice warning when approaching a cam. I notice the file I downloaded has BMP files and not PNG. Any advice? or shall I just cross the channel and use the CamerAlert app?
Like BMWboy73 say, does anyone have a zipfile containing iphone 4 icons and sound files suitable for UK+European cameras? |
