I have recently been allocated a company van, vauxhall vivaro sportive. However i am now on my third satnav as i cannot for the life of me get a satellite signal.I have been told it is because of the heated windscreen but if this is the case how do i get round this problem?Any help and suggestions welcome. |

If the law has changed in the last 10ish years, this may help.

What SatNav do you have and which have you tried?
Strange, because there is a topic going on elsewhere saying how sensitive GPS receivers are these days that signals can be detected while travelling in a high-speed train with Metal evaporated windows or even from inside a biscuit tin! _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

Out of interest, try switching on a satnav BEFORE putting it inside the van to prove it gets a signal outside, then put it in the van without switching off and see what happens. _________________ Dennis

Well that was an interesting answer NOT! What didn't avail? Did the satnav get a signal outside the van and did it lose it when you moved inside the van with it in your hand? Or what other vail did you get? _________________ Dennis
