I don't know if it is just me but having downloaded TTHome Ver 2.9.4.3058 I find several disconcerting changes??
1 Before downloading you now have to back up your device to the computer -- I did this and it took Ages!
2. When I ask to up-date my device it used to come up with a load of things that I could select and tick
--i,e Speeds in differing countries and the area danger speed things in France -- This don't happen now so I am at a loss how to download the speed cams -- say for Spain where we are going next month -- or Ireland??
3. The map corrections -- made on my device -- and others -- nothing seems to happen -- although it does come up after downloading with the box in the top right hand corner with the green dot to say that maps and corrections are up-to date -- red dot previous to any down load action - nothing on the menu screen.
There are others which I haven noted down as yet
-- but it does feel that it is a watered down version of the previous one
Can some one assure me that I am able to get things - speed cams -Spain - Ireland and others if needed etc??
Oh Yes -- no way of checking your subscription status while connected to the computer -- OK when not connected though
We have two devices -- 750Live and 740Live
Both work well

For point 1, just ckick on 'skip this step' at the bottom, if so desired. _________________ David |

There is the settings option to remove the back-up warning or force a backup somewhere from where it appears, I have done that. Then you get the next reminder window telling you not to remove the device which I cannot find an option to disable.
I still see the list of tick boxes for things like map updates and French danger zones, but far less in it.
I also find this version uses a massive amount of processing power even on an dual-Xeon machine. _________________ Drivelux |

I have set the backups to never prompt - that part was easy.
The missing speed cameras for all the countries of Europe is an interesting one. I turned them off anyway, but I wonder, given all the questions recently, whether they have stopped producing them? On checking the "Add traffic and other services", the safety cameras section doesn't have them all. Just UK and France. Sorry, not France, just danger zones of course. |

My TT Home won't now launch following update, which seemed to have gone OK.
Says failed with "Error0. Process failed to start up correctly".
Recommends reloading TT Home completely; what a pain.
UPDATE
THOUGH HAD CLOSED DOWN, noticed there was a TT Home process running in background, visible only in Task Manager; killing that, it now seems to be behaving
Now getting me new UK map. _________________ Gel

are the map corrections up dates going through?
I noted three new roundabouts and done them on the 750L - conected to TTHome and thought they had gone. When the next day I conected the wife's 740L when finished I checked to see if MY roundabouts had been downloaded - they hadn't. We haven't had this problem previously. Is this due to the new version of TTHome?

That tick box for running the back-up seems to have disappeared??
Always backs up now -- don't seem to be a way of stopping it!

Fibre - your first post.
1. Full backup only seems to happen for first time, thereafter it just backs up changes. Both very fast on my machine.
2 & 3. Still getting updates, speed cams Europe etc and Mapshare updates. _________________ Gee-Pee
