I think that the live traffic is operating it just that the TT devices can't connect to it via their SIM. It could even be a Vodafone issue but I suspect it's more likely to be TT |

Someone over on the TT Forums has had a reply from TT now, confirming that there is a problem with the TT servers.
No estimate as to when the issue will be resolved, so don't expect anything this side of Easter! |

My wife's Via825 Live is working, but my 750 Live has not worked since Friday morning so it is device specific.......
My device has no connection or SIM id so have Vodaphone stopped sending data to old sim cards? Have newer models got different data carriers? |

may be it's a ploy to get us to buy a newer unit and help push tomtom sales up.
my daughter's 820 live has been working with no problems all wk end . |

You can solve the sim ID problem by putting the device into Flight Mode and then back to normal again, but it won't solve the overall problem until TT fix their servers |

Pretty bad ploy, can't see me spending any more money on Tom Tom products, the phrase not fit for purpose springs to mind |

Yep Gazza awful timing for me, as I work in the Epping area, and the whole surrounding area was a car park this morning due to roadworks on the M11, that are going to be continuing all week.
Would be nice to be able to find out which alternative route is the least bad! |

Ditte [TT staff on their Forum] confirms a server problem, which they hope to resolve by Wednesday. dhn has pointed out it maybe the older models that have the problem. Though it might be the server that services older models? _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]
