before christmas i took up an offer from tomtom to get 4 map updates in a year for £16
ive got a 930 which has north america and western and central europe but today ive just checked and the new map i downloaded is also in the change map menu now as a separate western europe folder.
what id like to know is should i have over written the western and central europe map with the new western europe map like we do when updating the speed cameras or is it best to just use this new map now and i will have to load all my favourites again.
i have everything on a 8gb sd card but there only 1.6gb space left now so if i could free up some more space then i would like too instead of having both map folders on there.
thanks |

Use Windows Explorer to copy the unwanted map onto your hard disk, then delete it from the 930. If for some funny reason you want that map again, you'll be able to copy it back.
If you need your favourites, before removing the map, use it to convert the favourites to a POI set which you can copy into the new map folder with Explorer. _________________ Dennis

Dennis means WINDOWS EXPLORER not INTERNET EXPLORER
You'll have a job using either IE or FF to do what he is suggesting. |
