Hi All ,
my 1st post and only been user Cameralert for 1 week so hope not a silly question .
i have set cameralert to output audio via the device speaker , i have done this because i use a BT headset to listen to Music podcasts In comming calls etc and if i have sound as Bt headset all is ok but if i am on a call when an alert goes the BT headset gets distorted and echos and will stay that way until Headset is turned off , all the rest of the time its fine but why does the sound come through the headset even tho its set to device speaker ?
out of interest i am using EZcam and all the sound is ok with that through the headset , but i would prefer to use cameralert .
thanks Andy |

Does EZCam allow you to send the alert through the speaker while all other audio pipes through the BT headset? _________________ Lutz

So you cannot really compare the app behaviour unless you set CamerAlert to BTheadset. _________________ Lutz

yes that is correct , the thing that is strange for me is that because i cant get it to work with Bt Headset selected , i set to to Device speaker but when im on a call it still comes throught the BTheadset and i then have to disconnect BT and then reconnect BT to get Bt headset to work properly again ( if i dont all calls and sound through BT headset echos ) if i could make it come through device speaker all the time i would be happy
thanks Andy |

andysatnav, do I understand correctly?
You would like CamerAlert warning to go via Internal Speaker and everything else to go via BT? And you can't do this despite setting the CamerAlert to warn via Internal Speaker? _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

yes that is correct , it does that ok most of the time but if i am on a call when there is an alert then it comes through the BT headset whatever i set it to and then i have the problem that the bt Headset echos all the time until i turn BT off
at the moment i am using EZcam but i would prefer to use Cameralert ideally with all audio through BT headset but that just isnt working on my phone right now.
thanks |
