Hi
Until recently I had a tom tom and used the camera database. i have now changed my car to a renault laguna which has a factory fitted sat nav which works via DVD. Is it possible to get the speed cameras onto this?

You need to identify the brand of satnav - I thought Renault fitted TomTom Carminat, with SD card. _________________ Dennis

Does the handbook say how to update or upgrade, how to get another map or voice? Have you tried putting the DVD in your computer?
My Carminat can be taken by SD card to my computer, where it starts TomTom Home and where I can then look at the contents, by using Windows Explorer (actually using Finder on my Mac, same difference). I'm assuming the DVD is rewriteable, because it will need to write daily data to it.
I'd suggest you take a backup copy of the DVD then see if you can copy the cameras to it and install the warnings. _________________ Dennis
