No, because the data was still ours in our posession and everyone who submitted data got free access to it as well as free access for life.
This joke involved us selling it to TomTom with nothing to say thanks to those who have submitted data.
Very different.

One thing's for sure - you got quite a lot of mileage out of it, including really serious comments. How many pages did last year's one get?
I can't believe those who have taken it seriously. Maybe you and Darren should grovel and beg our forgiveness? After all, it's not our fault that we're all naiive trusting numpties - it's to do with Southernersoftypantses.

Not for those users who had supplied the data.... ALL of those people were given free lifetime subscriptions. 
EDIT: Oops sorry, didn't spot there was a 'page 3' and MaFt had already said the same thing.
