And think about this general point..... If I had not been REALLY bothered by the reflections, why would I have gone to the trouble to take those photos in the first place? |
It's clear that mods on this site are anti GO1000 and you are entitled to your opinion,
but us normal users are happy with the display and don't need photos to prove it. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

C'mon guys. Its obvious and beyond argument that the 1000 screen is more reflective. Fact, and this should be pointed out to prospective buyers. However, some people obviously find this a bigger problem than others. So why the heck do we need an argument about it, dubiously (according to one of the antagonists) supported with photos. It seems that the reflections bother Andy_P and others but nor Technik, so surely that's an end to it? Or are we going to get into the "My dad's bigger than your Dad" scenario |

HaHa! Paranoid or what? You think we mods have all got together to "do down" the Go1000?
Actually that's quite insulting, you seem to think I can't form my own opinion of something.

With that inane remark, I think I shall take M8TJT's advice and leave you to YOUR own opinions.
But if any forum user asks for an opinion of ANY unit, then I shall be happy to give mine. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Well in my truck the reflective screen aint a issue, after using the TT go 1000 today i'm pleased with it but disappointed at the same time!
Good points
Screen quality and clarity is alot better than my old 720.
HD Traffic is awesome!! Saved me over a hour today much better than RDS TMC.
Active Mount is good for quick install, got a second to hardwire into car.
Routing seems much better, and speedy!
Google Search is amazing found half my drops in London.
Looks great
Bad Points
Where's the 3d buildings gone!
No Itinary planning
No SD Card Slot
Map over 3GB with less detail!!
Hate New MyTomTom it sucks |
