|
|
Hello there,
I am trying to find navigation software for the iPhone to replace a function in a Garmin Oregon which is now broken:
With the Garmin Oregon 400T I could log a route and then it would show be the route in details afterwards so I could drive it again.
Does anything like that exist for the iPhone. At least technically there is no reason it shouldn't exist.
Thanks for any help with this.

Amazing, isn't it? Bazillions of applications in the app store, but none that fit your requirement (at least none that I could find). Hey - this is your chance at implementing it yourself... We can give you a hand or two with the programming. _________________ Lutz

There are two which will sort of do what you want. "MyCar Recorder" and "Safety Rec". Both are designed to record your route, but primarily to make a video of it too. I think both are promising, but neither are ideal. Depends on what you are wanting of course! |

What does the tracking feature in CamerAlert do, then? _________________ Dennis

It saves it in a file that you can view elsewhere. I think the OP was wanting an app that logged it all AND showed it in the app itself so you can follow it back again. |
