ok....
1. Installed CP5.. didn't connect to bluetooth because of Tomtom already installed on iPAQ 4150
2. Removed all Tomtom app, ~GPS, voice etc.... CP5 now working fine
3. Reinstalled Tomtom... CP5 not working (as expected)
4. Removed just the ~GPS app.. CP5 working fine but Tomtom doesn't get a GPS signal
5. Tried connecting to the Bluetooth receiver first using BT Manager but this didn't work
I really want the two to work independently with each other. I already have the Spain Maps for Tomtom & can't justify spending more on the European upgrade for CP5.
Am I missing something?
Any help appreciated! |

I have the two working side by side. When you have uninstalled TomTom ~ GPS what are you getting ? Which port / driver are you trying to run with in TomTom ? |

Thanks for the prompt reply Dave!
When I go into Tomtom and try to start the GPS Status screen it says it's not there so there doesn't seem to be anywhere to specify ports etc... isn't this because I uninstalled it?
If I'm not supposed to uninstall the GPS bit of Tomtom then which bit is it that i'm supposed to uninstall?
More details on installation method:
1. Install Tomtom 3 (4 apps get installed - Navigator, Wizard, Voice & GPS)
2. Install 3.03 update (2 apps get installed - Navigator & GPS)
3. Uninstall Tomtom Wizard (to save space)
3. CP5 doesn't work (still got 3 tomtom entries in remove programe)
4. Uninstall the Tomtom ~ GPS (now got 2 tomtom entries in remove programs - Navigator & Voice)
Thanks |

You will usually find you have:-
- TomTom Navigator
- TomTom ~ GPS
- TomTom GPS
Make sure you uninstall TomTom ~ GPS and not TomTom GPS. |
