Can some one please answer this question with regards to CoPilot 5
Does the map move and the position indicator stay still as in Tom Tom
or do both move as in my first GPS software IPAQ's Ins 1.2.
I have read the reviews and cannot determine which way ??
I have TOM TOM 2 and I am not that impressed with TT3 routing and time
calculations but I like the way the map moves with the car.
When I first used Ins 1.2 I found that if I was not sure of the spoken
directions by the time the green trail and maps had refreshed I had missed my turning ! ! !
Thanks in advance

It does both. The position indicator moves from the bottom to the middle of the screen, then the map refreshes and the indicator starts at the bottom again. |

Thanks for the reply. It sounds very much like my old Ins 1.2 not sure what to do now stick with TT2 or try CoPilot. |

I wouldn’t let the position indicator put you off as when I had the Streetpilot III only the map moved and yes that is better but Copilot 5 is excellent and with the street names spoken out its far easier to understand it’s instructions than probably most nav systems |
