Hi
Not so much a 'Sign-up' problem, but I am having difficulty getting to the download page. Every time I try, it comes up with "IE cannot display page". This is using IE8 on XP SP3. I can navigate to all other parts of the site.
I tried using Chrome, and I can access it OK from there.

Which download page?
POIs?
Speed cameras?
Voices?
There are lots! _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Sorry - should have been more specific
Trying to get there by clicking the 'Free Downloads' tab in the menu bar below the page header, and then the 'Download Free POIs' in the dropdown box. As I said before, I can get everywhere else using IE, including the rest of the items in the dropdown box.
Maybe related, but I have twice tried to email 'you' via pois@pocketgpsworld.com but keep getting Daemon-mailer error. I have emailed Mike Barrett directly on this - directed to Mike as he answered an email I eventually sent to team@PocketGPSWorld.com (which was obviously delivered!!).
Del
EDIT: Another pointer - when I hit 'Submit' on this post, it (again obviously) posted the item, then came back to me with the 'Cannot Display Page' error again. D |

As you can access the page with Chrome, I can only assume that there is a setting in IE that is blocking the page.
As I don't use IE (unless my arm is twisted ), I wouldn't know where to start on this. _________________ Richard

Thanks MaFt - tried those with the effect that it totally wiped all lists and settings I had, and also made IE VERY slow to connect to any page, and still had the same problem on PGPSW!! Had to do a complete system restore to my last checkpoint from last night to get back to any semblance of order
Let's not loose any sleep over it - let's face it, I won't want to go to the page very often, and if/when I do, I'll use Chrome. Due for a new PC soon anyway - realised a few days ago that I'm only running with 2GB memory, and I know I put 4 in when I built it, so it's beginning to collapse.
Thanks anyway to all
